- Serves1
Ingredients
- 1 wrap flour tortillas / wraps
- 24 g peanut butter
- 100 g bananas
- 15 g raisins
Method
- Warm the wrap for twenty seconds in a dry pan or the microwave so it rolls without cracking.

- Lay the peeled banana along one edge and scatter the raisins beside it.
- Roll tightly from the banana edge, cut in half on the diagonal and eat.
What this plate gives you
This is a carbohydrate breakfast, 62 g, from the tortilla, the banana and the raisins, and it is the lowest-protein breakfast in the library at 11 g. It is here because it takes five minutes, needs no fridge and no pan, and at 415 calories fits a fifth of a 2,000-calorie day. If protein matters more to you at breakfast, the cottage cheese and egg plates carry three times as much for the same calories.
Swaps
- A wholegrain wrap: about 3 g more fibre.
- A spoon of Greek yoghurt inside: about 5 g more protein.
- Leave out the raisins: 45 calories fewer.
Keeping it
Wrapped tightly it keeps at room temperature for the morning and in the fridge for a day. The banana browns after that.
